Prof. KP Singh, is an eminent educationist, academician, teacher, teacher activist, researcher, academic administrator, practicing librarian, and erudite orator. Currently working as Professor, Department of Library and Information Science, Director, Gandhi Bhawan, Provost, PG Men’s Hostel and Treasurer, Governing Body, Aditi Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi. Dr. Singh is a prolific writer and researcher, he authored 14 books, 18 edited books, 190 research papers, and successfully guided 14 Ph.D. theses, 35 M. Phil dissertations, and more than 160 PG projects. Famous books titled ‘Modi@DU: Colours of Centenary Celebrations’, ‘75 Glorious Years, Department of Library and Information Science: Pioneer in LIS Teaching, Research & Innovation’, ‘Flying Colours of Platinum Jubilee Celebrations: A Treatise of Anthology of Tested Knowledge’, and ‘Playing from the Front: A Story of Unfolded Acts of a Library & Information Science Teacher’ considered the classic work of Prof. Singh. Prof. Singh is proud alumni of DU, a gold medalist in M. Sc (Agri.) and the proud recipient of national fellowships namely ICAR-JRF (Agri.), CSIR-JRF, UGC-JRF/NET (LIS) and DRDO-JRF (LIS)
