Dr. Prajnan Upadhyay is an young researcher at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.  knowledge graphs and their applications in information retrieval are her broad areas of current research.  She did her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.  Following that she did her post-doctoral research working in the CEDAR team at Inria Saclay, France, led by Prof. Ioana Manolescu.  TeKnowbase, which is a knowledge base in the domain of Computer Science was developed by her, and is available freely on the GitHub. In the education domain, she has developed techniques to determine pre-requisites and reading orders for a given concept of interest.
