Dr. G. Mahesh is Chief Scientist and Head of Science Communication and Dissemination (SCDD) and also Head of the Director General’s Executive Directorate at CSIR HQ. Previously, he was Head, Research Journals Division at CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NIScPR). He is also a Professor at the Academy of Scientific & Innovative Research (AcSIR). He has published research papers in national and international journals including journals such as Current Science, Scientometrics, Technology and Society, and so on. Dr. G. Mahesh is a Fellow of the Society for Information Science. He has been a Commonwealth Professional Fellow having undergone the Fellowship programme at the University of Edinburgh, UK
